Climate justice is founded in legal and moral imperatives of human rights and in respect for the dignity of the person, this makes them the indispensable foundation for action in the area of climate change, and achieve at least the minimum conditions to live with dignity for all persons, especially for vulnerable groups through the realization of human rights and their values in addressing climate change policies.

The climate justice considered the best approach for the distribution of burdens and benefits of climate change and the costs of mitigation its effects, on individuals, groups, states and generations, equitably distributed for the protection of human rights, because its decisions are logical and equitable
