Abstract EN

Complainant is defined in Yemeni law as a victim and his legal heirs.

Complainant's right is defined as a victim or legal heirs have the right to claim to punish any person who committed against him any crime that can be punished with Retribution or Dia( Blood money) or Arsh ( wounds money) and the victim has the right to remit it by pardon with or without consideration.

As a result of previous definitions ; we can say that Yemeni law differs of other laws which restricts the victim with right of claim his civil compensation but Yemeni law extended victim's right to include either punish the criminal or remit or compensation either before or after judge decision.
