Teaching and learning the french language is a difficult and ambiguous task , each didactic approach proposes to it differently ; when it comes to french language teaching methods , many of these methods have neglected the use of the literary text .
However , the modern interactive and communicative methods insure the importance of literature in teaching french language , because the literary text is an authentic support that gives the learners some freedom to interpret and understand , at the same time it helps them develop the linguistic , the cultural and even the intercultural competence
Abstract FRE
L’enseignement/apprentissage du FLE est une tâche difficile et ambigüe, et chaque courant didactique propose de la faire autrement ; en passant par les différentes méthodes d’enseignement du FLE, plusieurs qui ont négligé l’exploitation du texte littéraire.
Les nouvelles méthodes actionnelles et communicatives affirment la nécessité et l’importance de la littérature dans l’enseignement du FLE, car le texte littéraire est un support authentique par excellence, donnant aux apprenants une certaine liberté d’interprétation et de décodage, développant chez eux à la fois une compétence linguistique, culturelle voire interculturelle.
