The study included a quantitative analysis of the sites and monuments in Jerusalem City, where these landmarks are of great importance to the three monotheistic religions, and are an essential part of the civilizations of many previous, present and subsequent peoples, and because of this importance occupied Jerusalem reflected mainly on the world reality as a whole, The study aims to determine in quantitative terms and methodological analysis the most important sites and archeological sites in Jerusalem City, focusing on Islamic and Christian monuments in the region.

The study found that the archaeological sites in the city are mostly related to the Canaanite roots and origins, and other later monuments during the Greek, Roman and Byzantine periods.

Jerusalem was thus present in its Islamic features.

It also shows that the monuments of the Jews were very rare, did not enable researchers and scholars to deduce valuable information about the Jewish influence on the region, as the Jewish race and its presence in Jerusalem were weak.
