This research aims to reveal the image of Cordoba, Al-Zahra', and al-Rossafah, in the poetry of the Andalusian poet "Ibn Zaidun", and to disclose the vulnerability of his poetry on the place, and the impact of this place in his poetry.
Moreover, the study aims to investigate the most important countenance of the place by imaging its various dimensions which "Ibn Zaidun" focused on within his vision as he described it correlationg it with the poet's watchful issue, and to clarify the relationship between the literature and place, in depending on textual studying in preface and four titles : (1) Cordoba & longing : the absence, the yearning, and the groan.
(2) Cordoba & dear : the absent present, and the alien .
(3) Cordoba & nature: the glamour, the beauty, and the fact .
(4) Cordoba & freedom: the council, the cabaret, and the issue
