Abstract EN

This paper investigates the semiotics of sentimental inclinations.

It tries to apply its approach on Masare’ al-Oshaaq as this work develops in a tense way that reflects the psychological conflict of the lover’s self.

It also reflects the deep desires that are manifested in different ways to form the various aspects of the lover’s behavior as well as the fluctuation in eagerness, treason and revenge.

The study shows the tenseness that might influence the lover’s relationship and how this can lead to eliciting from the narrative lexis or signs that reflect sentimental inclinations in the literary work.

This comes as a result of dealing with the text based on presence and absence argument that leads to attraction and conflict in the lovers’ relationship.
