Abstract EN

This study attempts to identify one of the requirements excellence management as exemplified by the organizational culture.

A field study was conducted at the University Larabi Ben Mhidi Central Library in Oum El Bouaki.

A survey was conducted in the academic year 2016– 2017.

The descriptive methodology was usedin this study.

The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool.

It was distributed to 20 senior executives working in the library.

The study revealed a number of results that showed mainly: the role of group-work activities in improving the workers’ performance in the library and the emergence of the organizational culture in the library.

In addition to that, motivation provided by the managers to the librarians encouraged the latter to be innovative.

That skill represented in the study was one of the most important elements of excellence management in libraries.
