Popular heritage is linked to the social life of people and is acquired and passed down through generations.
It is therefore described as an inherited, effective, literary, artistic and behavioral heritage.
And also charact erized by idealism.
The individual and the group are subjects to him and feed him, in addition to the achievement of watching and fun.
Taking into consideration the Algerian people's connection to the public spaces of the occupation, such as markets, cafes and others, this heritage is being dramatized to give the Algerian theater signs in the form of the shadow theater.
Thus, the modern Algerian theater, which was pronounced in the spirit of the people, was founded by adopting the popular heritage, which preserved its identity to the present day, mixing the past and the present until the equation of its existence was integrated into its reality.
In this context, we will discuss the relationship between the Algerian theater and the popular heritage and the resulting creative scene.
