The concept of research represented in explain the importance and effect of the urban land use planning for the cities on the nature of social structure for the communities of these cities .

After study both of urban land use planning and how it effects on the social structure , we determined a number of important indicators and applied them on the study area (Al-Sadder district /2) and , it has been clear , how the urban land use planning of study area effects on the social interaction between its residents .

and how that caused in a spatial relationships that become deeper by time , and acquires them their social characteristics which will determine their cultural and social identity , and this make the planning be better and the urban life more suitable .
