This research examined the Competence of language in children literature, which may develops the skills of: communication, thinking expression, and the sense of literary enjoyment for children.

So the researcher chose a song out of text book, but he expects that it is suitable for the sixth elementary level.

He analyzed its lingual aspects and planned it as a free-class period and presented by a stule of field seminar.

The outpats of seminar demonstrated that children literature is important, and enjoyable as an educational source full of the aspects of lingual competence and aesthetics in addition to educative valumes.

So, it is suitable to use it by this method.

Also have obtained a lot of vocabulary, many lingual manners, communication skills, creative thinking and styles of expression, as well as the sense of literary enjoyment.
