This paper aims to study the problem of coordination and integration between monetary and fiscal policy in order to achieve economic balance and to deal with the effects of financial crises and the traumas at the local and international levels, including the recent oil shock, which Algeria is still searching for the most effective solutions to face.

The current global financial crisis may threaten the economic systems, which will take into account the need for coordination and coordination between the fiscal and monetary policies in order to improve the various economic indicators.

In this context, we will review the main concepts related to the tools and objectives of the monetary and fiscal policies, as well as the types and causes of financial crises and their consequences from shocks.

This work also deals with the relationship between the monetary and financial policies in Algeria, as well as their contribution to achieving economic balance and addressing the oil shock as one of the consequences of the global financial crisis.
