Under the title “Altruism: An Onto-Historical Glimpse into the Concept”,the two researchers in the math department of the University of Vienna Karl Sigmund and Christoph Hauert consider the concept of altruism from an ontological and psychological view.
They strive to recover the expression of altruism in classical philosophical thought in addition to establishing it as a phenomenon in human history

Dans "Le document", on trouve des études et articles qui abordent la notion du Soi et celle de l'autre du côté de la philosophie et de la sociologie.
Ils sont les suivants: Sous le titre "Altruisme: vision ontologico-historique de la notion", on trouve une étude rédigée par deux chercheurs à l'Istitut des Mathématiques à l'Université de Vienne: Karl SIGMUND et Christoph HAUERT.
Ils abordent la notion d'Altruisme du côté ontologique et sociologique.
Ils s'efforcent de penser l'Altruisme tel qu'il est exprimé par les classiques de la pensée philosophique, et de l'enraciner comme phénomène dans l'histoire humaine.
