Abstract EN

This study sheds light on the wish of Palestinian Arabs to establish a Palestinian state and their efforts to fulfill it, in addition to the Israeli leaders point of view through their memoirs.

This wish has started since late days of ottomans and it rose up during the British occupation on Palestine.

The Palestinian political leaders called for the unity of their country with the levant, however, the collapse of Arab Syrian kingdom encouraged them to think about establishing a national government in Palestine.

They established the Arab higher committee as a political entity.

After that, the Arab higher body was established according to a resolution issued by the league of Arab state.

In 1948 they established the All Palestine Government which survived for just a short period.

In 1964, PLO was established .

in 1988 Yasser Arafat announced "The dependence of the Palestine state", And in 1993, he Signed Oslo accords with Israel.

All The Israeli leaders and in reference to Oslo accords rejected the existence of Palestinian state.

On the other hand, they admitted the Authority of self government because they think that the existence of Palestinian state will destroy Israel.
