Abstract EN

This article studied Trends of Palestinian University students towards the role of Palestinian Satellite TV channels in enhancing national nurture values.

The article aimed to identify the University students opinions towards the role of Palestinian Satellite TV channels in enhancing national nurture values.

It also monitors contemporary challenges that face Palestinian Satellite TV channels, especially, in light of globalization threat for national values in the Palestinian community.

The article revealed the obstacles facing the Palestinian Satellite TV channels in guiding students towards promoting and developing national values.

It is a descriptive study that describes the phenomena by using a survey method.

A questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data from 500 student from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza Strip.

The most important findings were : 1.

The Palestinian Satellite TV channels contribute to consolidate national nurture concepts for students by 96%.

2.

Satellite TV channels have an important role in the educational process that is based on consolidating national concepts by 95%.

3.

Palestinian Satellite TV channels spread national concepts represented by tolerance and respect of others among youth 43.8%.

4.

It is important to develop TV programs to encourage youth to participate in state building 99.2%.
