We report the findings of our study examining the current practice for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery in the United Kingdom.We sent a questionnaire to all surgeons registered as members or fellows of the British Orthopaedic Association in 2014 and collated responses via a third party website before analyzing the results.
We then compared the responses received to the UK National Ligament Registry (UK NLR) 2015 Report.
Our study represents the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom to date.
