he purpose of this research is to study “'The Madrasah-Khanqah of emir Mughlatay al-GamalT in El-Gamaliyya District.

This research aims to study all the features from both fimctional and architectural perspectives.

It also and analyzes all of them with the aim of benefitting the touristic development of al-Gamaliyya district.

It also presents a comprehensive study for the biography of emir Mughlatay El-Gamall and his important positions and titles as well as his relationship with the Mamluk sultan al- Na?ir Muhammad b.

Qalawun and his existing monuments.

The study fiirther presents a comprehensive study of the emir’s entailment document which is published for the first time and analyzes all of its elements.
