Abstract EN

This research aims at surveying the opinions of specialists towards including the media education in the Palestinian curriculum in terms of importance, objectives, content and methods.

The researcher used a descriptive study based on sample survey.

In this connection, the research has been applied to a random sample consisting of (136) faculty members of education and media departments at the Islamic, al-Azhar and al-Aqsa universities.

The research has included three variables Specialization, academic degree, and experience.

The researcher used a questionnaire consisting of (33) items distributed to four themes : The importance of media education, objectives, content and methods.

The researcher has come to significant findings : The items have come within the rating ” strongly agree ff.

There are no statistically significant differences between the rating averages of education specialists and media specialists concerning the inclusion of media education in the Palestinian curriculum in the following themes: importance, objectives and content.

There are significant differences in the rating averages of specialists Concerning the inclusion of media education in the Palestinian curriculum in all themes : importance, objectives, content and methods according to the variables of both academic degree and experience.
