Abstract EN

This paper discusses the role Of argumentative connectors and their relationship with the strengths Of reasoning.

The class Of argumentative con- nectors is conceived as basic units in discourse analysis.

This means that it is defined according to the role that these units play as drivers Of textuality.

These categories of lexical units provide linear and thematic structuring of the text, as well as its function in determining the utterance, intention and argumentative orientation of connected components (argument for a conclusion, argument more I less strong, secondary argument, etc).

The object of this research aims to show how discursive theories can interact with the argumentation issues.

Our perspective will integrate both the semantics and pragmatics (integrated pragmatics) to discuss the subject Of argumentative connectors.

We attempt to answer the following series Of questions: 1.

What is the role of argumentative connectors in the sequence of speech and its role to establish strength reasoning? 2.

How do hearers arrive at an understanding of this sort of discourse, and be reasonably confident that this interpretation is what was actually intended by the reasoning structure? 3.What specific conditions must exist, or, in what context do these units expressions function in this way?
