Al-Masbouq's Prayer (The late follower / the one who arrive late for the congregational prayer) has special provisions in Islamic fiqh (jurisprudence), thus the treatise that we are going to have tahqiq (verification) is the only one that discusses the late follower prayer provisions in the Hanafi school, in particular .

The treatise was written by Noah Bin Mustapha Alqonoei almufti al-Hanafi; he aims at giving a satisfying answer of the question that directed to him.

He answers it in a separate treatise; the treatise includes two issues.

First, if a late follower catches up with one rak'ah of the three or four rak'ah prayers, how is he to complete what he missed in the prayer? The Alqonoei quotes a lot from the books of the Hanafi School, and then he discusses proofs that support Hanafi school view and refutes the responses that directed to these proofs.

The second issue deals with Mufti (means an Islamic scholar who is an interpreter or expounder of Islamic law (Sharia) traits and the methodology of the fatwa in the Hanafi school of fiqh, especially if there are different views on the same matter between Imam Abu Hanifa and his two companions.After that, he discusses the conditions of becoming mujtahid (an Islamic scholar who is competent to interpret sharia), the shari'a ruling of fatwa (juristic ruling concerning Islamic law issued by an Islamic scholar) in fiqh books, methodology of weighting between opinions, and warning from accepting opinions without having murajih (preferred distinction).

Next, he discusses the fabrication among schools of fiqh, and the provisions of imitation for the common people.

He ends with the issue of closing the door of ijtihad if disagreement settled on two opinions.

The researchers divide the study into two parts; the first is a brief about the author; includes: the author biography, then moves on to talk about his sheikhs (scholars who taught him), his students, his position, and other scholars praise for him, his works, and ends talking about the author by his dead.

The second part includes a brief study of the manuscript, and a verification of the manuscript text.
