Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the importance of the industrial clusters as a strategic orientation to achieve the sustainable diversification in Saudi Arabia Kingdom, through the establishment of backward and forward dynamic links between the various components of the chain of value, in order to enhance economic growth, to diversify revenue sources, and to create new jobs.

The study showed that the Kingdom made a quantum leap in achieving sustainable diversification in all its regions during the period 2010 to 2015, through building industrial cities and cluster communities, where the entire necessary infrastructure such as support and logistic services are available, with the partnership with the private sector.

This increases the contribution of the industrial sector in the domestic product, and creates jobs to the qualified human resources
