Abstract EN
This study investigates the influence of management training and development (MTD) on employee productivity.
A case study of Zawia Oil Refining Company (ZORC) is used to evaluate 45 managers in their employment.
Data was obtained through formal and informal interviews with respondents.
Questionnaires probed on issues of training, development practices, and employee productivity.
Collected data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistical methods.
The results demonstrate positive effects of training and development practices on staff productivity, as well as the strong association of total productivity with the size of the employment.
