Abstract EN

International business practice and in particular foreign direct investment leads to the achievement of the objectives of multinational companies which they lead at the same time to increase exposure to many of the risks associated with their activities in the host country.

This can be identified under the name of country risk.

These companies seek to deal with this smart kind of risk and run it, in a way that can be avoided entirely or reduced to a minimum, where the use of indicators provided by international bodies for the country risk rating.

In this paper we will attempt to analyze the relationship between the risk of foreign direct investment climate based on indicators provided by international bodies on the risk rating of the country and foreign direct investment flows to Algeria during the period 2000 - 2012.
