This research aims to clarify the importance of knowledge management, and the possibility of application it in higher education organizations, it's based on generating knowledge, finding it, organizing it, using it, sharing it, it has been out a model to take with this method in university according to three steps: exploration step and study successful experiences, study the possibility of the application, choose the right team, develop a strategic and an executive plans, raise awareness of the importance of knowledge management, technical and human configuration, execution, follow-up and guidance.
