Collective memory, with all its behavioral, intellectual and cultural treasures, constitutes a fertile ground that all the Arabic novelists, in general, and Algerian in particular, seeking for privacy and excellence and wants to root for a type of writing what is not controlled by a specific machinery of production and reception.

The folk arts is represented, as one of the most powerful compounds of this memory of the important reference technical frameworks that enabled the Algerian novel to formulate its different present in form and idea.

This article examines how the novelist combined what is modern and individual subject to the rules of written formation and between is collective and extended in time in this attempt to portray a past full and present is only a copy even worse than that past.
