The present study aimed at investigating the effect of teaching practice m reducing teaching anxiety Isvel and improving attitude towards teaching profession m a sample of students m coQsge of Education, Mima University.

Attitude towards teaching profession scale, teaching anxiety scale and Teaching practice assessment questionnaire were used to collect data.

The pilot sample consisted of 227 (100 malss.

127 females) while the mam sample iuckided 135 students.

Results mdrated statistically significant difference was found between mean scores of pre.

& post anxiety seals favoring the pre.

test with too bw effect size 0.08, while no statistically significant difference was found between mean scores of pre.

& post professional attitude seals.

This result refers to the ineffectiveness of teaching practice expensnces m improving professional attitudes of student teachers.

Results also showed no significant differences among the 3 groups of anxiety (bw, moderate, high) di scores of teaching practice and no significant differences among the 3 groins of attitude (bw, moderate, hgh) m scores of teaching practice m the two assessments.
