Abstract EN

The study investigated the contribution of Jordanian Integrat programs ,principals in the success of counseling in their schools as perceived by school counselors.

The study addressed the following questions: § What is the effectiveness level of counseling in public programs located at Amman governorate as perceived by private schools' principals? § Are there significant differences (α≥ 0.05) in the effectiveness of counseling process at Amman Governorate integration programs due to principals' gender, experience and qualification? Population of the study consisted of private schools' principals at Amman Governorate, totaling 462.

a simple random sample representing 30 % of the population was selected from this population, totaling 138.

to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher built a questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of counseling process at Amman Governorate private schools.

The questionnaire contained 50 items distributing on 4 subscales: students, parents, school administration and teachers.

Reliability and validity of the questionnaire were obtained, and found to be convenient for the objectives of the study.

Results indicated moderate effectiveness level of counseling services provided in private schools.

Students dimension ranked first, then teachers, parents, school administration, respectively.

No significant gender differences were found in study subjects; means scores on all study subscales.

No significant differences were found in study subjects' means scores on subscales due to qualification, while significant differences were found due to experience in all subscales, except for school administration
