Abstract EN
The study aims at examining the effectiveness of a counseling program to relieve attention disorder, and improve social competence in children with learning disabilities.
The sample consisted of 40 male female children in 4th and 5 th gradas in Hude Sharawi and Ahmed Orabi primary schools in Kafralsheikh 2015-2016.
It divided into a control group of 20 children (14 males and 6 females) in Ahmd Orabi school and an experimental group of 20 children (14 males and 6 famales) in Huda Sharwi school.
The study uses; attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (AD HD) measure, prepared by AL-Behari, 2014, social competence measure, prepared by aL-kafory ,2009-fast, Neurological survey, prepared by kameL,1999,observation inventoy for childs' behavior,prepared by kamel,1987, intelligence measure, hidden virsion for primary, prep and secondary stage, prepared by mousa, 2013, social and cultural standard measure for Egyptian family prepared by AL- shakhs,2014.aprogramme bsed cognitive and behavioral counseling,prepared byThe researcher.The study finds .
the effectiveness of the cognitive and behavioral counseling program in relieving (ADHD) and improving social competence in children with learning disabilities The conttnuity of the effectiveness of the program during the follow up.
