Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the level of professional skills of accountants recently graduated in Sudanese universities, and their weaknesses in professional skills, then propose solutions that can support accounting education in the Sudanese universities to bridge the professional skills gap of accountants recently graduated.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed to collect the data from (95) of employers in Khartoum state.

The most important findings of the study are that accountants recently graduated have medium standard of technical skills, analytical skills and personal skills.

While they have high lack of evaluating skills, Life –Long Learning Skills, social and organizational skills and responsibility skills
