Abstract EN

One-person company(OPC) is a new concept in Saudi legal system, which has been recently introduced by the companies' act 2015.

This evolution represents a coup against the traditional foundations of the general principles in the companies, based on the multiplicity of partner.

The concept it came in response to economic developments and the possibility of capital investment in the investment projects, benefit the state and its citizens and investors, and leading to the creation of a secure economic environment by reducing phantom companies that are, in fact, per person.

The concept opens up spectacular possibilities for sole partner and entrepreneur who can take the advantages of Limited company and corporatization.

I have tried, in this study, to stand on the extent to which this type of company is with public and private provisions for companies, and I came to the conclusion that the need to do the Saudi regulator to make special provisions of the one person company is consistent with its own nature that are based on individual will, unlike other companies which are based on contractual wills)contract).
