The present study aimed at finding out the availability of critical thinking skills among students of psychology and philosophy at the University of Ziane Ashour in Djelfa.
The study also aims at finding out the statistically significant differences among students in critical thinking skills due to the variable (sex, specialization, level) It was estimated that 120 male and female students (35 males) and (85 females) were selected in the random stratified sample method.
The analytical descriptive approach was adopted.
The study tool was the Criterion of Critical Thinking Skills prepared by (Muhammad Anwar Ibrahim: 2001).
The results of the study were on the sample And the following: - The availability of critical thinking skills (interpretation, accuracy in the examination of facts, the realization of objective facts, the framework of the correct relationship, the extremism of opinion) did not reach the acceptable educational limit of (60%) - while the results of the study revealed no differences A statistically significant function among students in critical thinking skills is attributed to (sex/specialization), and there are statistically significant differences among students in critical thinking skills due to the variable level (bachelor / master)
