This research paper analyzes the Panamian experience of establishing a global logistics center at Panama Canal region- and the integrative role of Colon Free Zone with Colon port and Colon international logistics center , the core concept of the research paper is based on the importance of making the best use of geographical location to gain competitive advantage to a pea port , moreover, to make use of thiS potential to establish both a free zone and an international logistic cc‘nter './ithin this area , all to work together in harmony and integration to serve economic objectives of the country, the research paper illustrates the importanc«- of Panama Canal to world seaborne trade, illustrates the efforts exerted by the Panamian government over the .ate years to benefit from Panama Canal gen-ume lopati9n by improving its ports facijiti^s apd capacities, a^^lish ..the Colon Free Zone arid Coloi) International Logistics Center, these efforts were based on legislative and organizational framework that aim to facilitate and attract investors and international companies to the area, which was provided by the infrastructure and superstructure necessary for inter-national , regional , national trade and transport logistics.

The research paper also described the successful experience of Jebel Ali In United Arab Emirates, mentioning Port Said experience was necessary within this context, finally, the main objective of this research paper is to conclude recommendations from these international experiences that guide to establ'.'h successfully the intended international logistics center at Suez Canal region with its genuine strategic geographic location, integrating with international free zone, East Port Said port and Sokhna port, m a harmonized operational, £uid economic,, system that participates in achieving th^'ecdnomig objeet-tlves of Egypt.
