The development of hotels services and facilities for disahled-guests in five-stars hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh :

Most hotels, transportation facilities and tourist sites are not physically accessible for many people with disabilities.

This study aims to know the services and facilities that the hotels offer for disabled guests, as well as» to identify the obstacles facing disabled guests at five- star hotels in Sharm El - Sheikh and finally to suggest recommendations for hotels to improve their services for disabled guests in order to satisfy their special needs.

For achieving these objectives, an interview was conducted with front office managers at five- star hotels in Sharm El - Sheildi.

The results revealed that the services provided by the hotels for guests with special needs are limited and don't meet the needs of all categories of disabled.

The field study also showed that some hotels don't have accessible rooms.

Moreover, there aren't specially trained programs for staff in most of the hotels on how to treat this category of guests.

Relevant recommendations are suggested to improve the hotels services and facilities for disabled guests.
