Abstract EN

The shock which resulted to the accelerated transformations whether in the Algerian society or the regional surroundings made famous sociologists admitt on 195 the differents forums the failure of sociology in creating its own place in the social map in Algeria.

But despite passing quarter of century from the confession in the failure, the sociology in Algeria did not end its alternation of place.

Sociologists didn’t suceed to found a sociological school from depth of society itself.

From here commes the inquiry about the possible reasons and causes which sociologists made underage about producing of typical sociology around the society.

That first look on the different studies and the researches carried out by sociologists around their own critical for their science makes us believe that they agreed upon a group of elements whose they see as standing as an impediment to the development of sociology.

- supremacy of the political on knowlege - multitude of the intellectual references - nonexistence of a accumulative cognitive resulting from a lack of attempt - weakness in the process of formation In the end, we can say that even if descriptions differed in the interpretations of sociologists about the positivism for their science (as the confusion, the blockage, the confusion or the crisis) it still entirety reflects the failure that accompnies this science in Algeria since the biginning .

indeed , this failure is still inherent consequently as the causing elements are still existing.
