Abstract EN

The objective of the research was to identify the relation between speed bearing and accuracy of performing some offensive skills in basketball, and also to identify the relationship between the level of lactate in the blood and the accuracy of performing some offensive skills in basketball.

The researcher used the descriptive method and formed the sample of the research community of the first class of basketball clubs(Aldejeel, Samaraa) for the middle region of the season 2016-2017.

The research sample of (14) players were randomly selected , divided into (7) players for each club The researcher has identified the test speed and compound offensive skills through the interview with a number of specialists for the purpose of getting the best tests that serve the purpose of the research .After the preparation of the instruments and tools, the researcher conducted a pilot experiment on (21-23 / 5 / 2017) and four players were then excluded from the main experiment ,and then the researcher conducted the main experiment on the sample on 28/5 (2017) until 4 / 6 / 2017.

After the data collection was statistically processed by the SPSS using the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation and the simple correlation coefficient (Pearson), the researcher concluded that there is a significant correlation between the speed bearing test and the accuracy of some of the compound offensive skills The research also has a significant correlation between both the compound offensive skills and the lactate level for the research sample.
