The current study aims at Analyzing the relation between Habits of Mind, Psychological Burnout and Motivation to Work for Intellectual Disability Teachers.

Participants are (426) Intellectual Disability teachers from Riyadh city.

All males.

Participants were chosen from 30 different Intellectual Disability schools and institutions.

Tools: Habits of Mind Scale ( by Abdel- Aziz Elshakhs, Mahmoud Eltantawy, and Thafer Elshahrany, 2015 – Formatted to agree with the Saudi Arabian cultural background ( by Mahmoud Eltantawy, 2016), Psychological Burnout Scale ( by researcher), Motivation to Work Scale (by researcher), Results: Study revealed, A statistically negative correlation between Habits of Mind and Psychological Burnout.

A statistically positive correlation between Habits of Mind and Motivation to Work.

The most effective Habits of Mind to prevent teachers from Psychological Burnout are; Managing impulsivity, Questioning and Posing problems, Persisting, Thinking flexibly, Remaining open to continuous learning, The most effective Habits of Mind motivate teachers to work are, Managing impulsivity, Questioning and Posing problems, Thinking flexibly, Persisting, Creating, Imagining and Innovating.

There is a correlation between both Psychological Burnout, Motivation to Work and the one’s academic level (Bachelor or Master degree).
