Abstract EN

The present study aims at clarifying the relationship between classroom interaction and student learning motivation, taking into account the types of interaction and its forms, both verbal and nonverbal, and their effect on student learning.

To verify the objectives of the study, we used the learning motivation scale and a questionnaire that measured classroom interaction between students and mathematics teachers.

The study was based on a sample of 30 students from the final level in the technical secondary school of Messaad The main question of the study was: Is there a relationship between classroom interaction and motivation of learning? The study showed that: 1.

There is a positive correlation between dialogue and learning motivation.

The more discussion and participation are in the class, the greater the students are motivated to learn.

There is also a related relationship between the nonverbal gestures used by the teacher with the students during his teaching and their motivation to learn.

There are no differences between students in class interaction.
