No science is free from a specific approach which must follow and depend on and which constitutes and truck that takes him to the realities of things and their constituents.

The linguistic researches do not constitute an exception; hence, the development of the Western linguistics in the twentieth century was due to the dependence on scientific approaches.

The defect of the Arabic traditional grammar manifested itself in the lack of applying a specific scientific approach by its founders.

This is what encourages me to find the notion of scientific approach of the ancient grammarians on one hand, and in the modern ones, on the other, taking as a case study some of its prominent leaders (Sibawaih and Tamam).
