Abstract EN

The early beginnings of the 20th century have witnessed a growing increase of national trends focusing on the unity among Arabs against disruption and dispersion and spreading the spirit of brotherhood and coexistence despite the differences that are based on religion, sector, and racism.

Such tendencies came as a result of the irritations and strong turns that the Arab and Islamic nation has undergone in the past era and also by being influenced by a number of modern calls for religious, political, and social reform leading to the integration of the communities.

As long as the writer is the son of his environment and the shaper of its dreams, therefore we need to realize the emergence of the objective features that seek for reform via a technical method in his writing, and hence, delivered to the reader.

Thus, this is what we have witnessed in the literary works of the Iraqi, Egyptian as well as the Arab diaspora poets and their deployment of the Arabic and Islamic heritage in an attempt to revive the glorious past era.

However, we have witnesses this end in the poetry of Christian Lebanese leading to the idea that such poetry can be described as a literary phenomenon in the modern Arabic poetry in Lebanon based on the fact that they were committed to Ahlul Bait (the progeny of Prophet Mohammed p.b.u.t) rather than any other Islamic figures.

As such, it is considered quite important to thoroughly scrutinize the argumentative relationship between them that was mirrored in their poetic and literary works in order to highlight its roots and the factors that lead to the growth of such poetic works.

Consequently, it is important to study the two parallel lines that lead to the adoption of the Ahlul-bait heritage in a comprehensive manner by the modern Lebanese writer, namely: the ideological line and the spirit of the age and its requirements respectively.
