Abstract EN

The paper consists of introduction, preface and three interlocutors.

In the introduction, the originality of the comparison trends in old and modern Arab criticism has pointed out, while the preface deals with the concepts of personification and comparison in the critical and rhetorical perspective and Al-Ma'ri’s influences by al-Mutanabi in philosophical thinking and poetic art.

Then the three interlocutors , namely, the essence of the research is devoted to the rhetorical and critical comparisons of the two poets within time frame, namely (days and ages), (days and night ), and(days and world ).

There is no doubt that there is interaction between the vocabulary of the interlocutors with each other, and some of the vocabulary and title of the research, but the title of the research and its scientific framework impose on researchers such a configuration,as the textual treatment in the content of the paper intercedes this distribution
