Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى دور مديري المدارس الثانوية الخاصة في محافظة العاصمة عمان في تنمية المجتمع المحلي و علاقته بسلوك المواطنة التنظيمية للمعلمين من وجهة نظرهم، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي و تم استخدام استبانتين؛ الأولى تنمية المجتمع المحلي مكونة من (31) فقرة موزعة على مجالات (المشاركة المجتمعية، و تنمية البيئة المحلية، و خدمة الأسرة)، و الثانية سلوك المواطنة التنظيمية مكونة من (30) فقرة موزعة على مجالات (الايثار، الكياسة، السلوك التنظيمي)، و تم التأكد من صدقهما و ثباتهما، و تكونت العينة من(340) معلما و معلمة في المدارس الثانوية الخاصة، و أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الاتي: إن دور مديري المدارس الثانوية الخاصة في خدمة المجتمع المحلي جاءت مرتفعة، و درجة ممارسة سلوك المواطنة التنظيمية متوسطة، و وجود علاقة ايجابية ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بينهما، و وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05a≤ ) لدور مديري المدارس في تنمية المجتمع المحلي تبعا لمتغير الخبرة العملية لصالح فئات من (5-10) سنوات، و عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغيري الجنس و المؤهل العلمي، و وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05a≤ ) لدرجة ممارسة سلوك المواطنة التنظيمية تبعا لمتغير الجنس و لصالح الإناث، و عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغيري الخبرة و المؤهل العلمي، و أوصت الدراسة بوضع منظومة قيم و مبادئ أساسية لممارسة سلوك المواطنة التنظيمية لدى معلمي المدارس الثانوية الخاصة، و تعزيز أسس و مبادئ تنمية المجتمع المحلي لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية الخاصة في العاصمة.

English Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the role of private secondary school principals in Amman Governorate in the development of the local community and their relationship with teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior.

In order to achieve the study goals, two questionnaires have been used.

The first questionnaire is about the development of local community comprised of (31) items distributed to (local community participation, local environment development, and family service), while the second one is about the organizational citizenship behavior which comprised of (30) items distributed to (altruism, courtesy, and organizational behavior).

The validity and reliability of both questionnaires have been verified.

A clustered random sample from four directorates has been selected, therefore, the study sample which included (340) male and female teachers at private secondary schools.

Results revealed the following : the degree of private secondary school principals’ role in serving the local community is high; the degree of organizational citizenship behavior is medium; there is a positive relationship between them; there were significant differences at (a≤ 0.05) of school principals role in the development of local community according to practical expertise variable in favor of 5-10 years categories; no statistical significance differences of gender variable and academic qualification were found, statistical significance differences at level (a≤ 0.05) for the degree of practicing organizational citizenship behavior according to gender variable and in favor of females were found; no statistical significance differences of both expertise and academic qualification variables were found.

Study Recommendations : The study has reached the following recommendations : - Setting a system of values and basic principles for private secondary school teachers to practice the organizational citizenship behavior.

- Enhancing the local community development principles and basics for private secondary school teachers in the Capital.
