This research is concerned with the study of the Malaysian and the American intervention in the conflict between Indonesia and the Netherlands in Western of Irian.
The intervention came, by the departure of the Indonesian President, Ahmad Sukarno toward the Soviet Union to ask for military assistance in order for Indonesia to obtain its western island of Irian from Netherlands by force.
