Civil society is one of the most influential mechanisms in the process of democratization in contemporary democratic societies, for its ability to influence, persuade, and participate in political, social and economic processes.

In this study, we tried to address the mechanisms of activating the role of youth in civil society to cope with the democratic transformation in Algeria through: Sociological and analytical approach, where we presented civil society : a conceptual approach, civil society and democratic transformation in contemporary societies, mechanisms to activate the role of civil society in Algeria And its institutional environment - between the legal text and actual practice, youth and civil society in the Arab world - Algeria in particular - for effective partnership, reality and constraints.
