Abstract EN

The research centered around one idea i.e.

Al-Jahiz' problematic controversy over the two concepts: The nature habit i.e.

talent) ،and material production i.e.

writing.

The author has had a new careful scan for the said terms and studied them within Al-Jahiz' contextual testimony and proof.

The study consisted of four pillars: the definition of «The nature habit i.e.

– talent» was the first ،and the definition of «material production i.e.

writing was the second ،then two models of literature and criticism were chosen and applied ،the (slaves of poetry) was as a sample ، which shows the balance between material production i.e.

writing» from one side and presenting the production & inequality in poetic literature ،and that was the third pillar.

Then the fourth pillar was about the annualities i.e.

the yearly productions ،and the dialogue between Zuhair and Hotayeh.

The researcher also stopped with some critical issues during the study ،some of them were researched and some weren't.

The said issues were summarized in the conclusion of the study.
