فاعلية برنامج قبعات التفكير الست في تنمية الكتابة الإبداعية لدى طلبة الصف التاسع في الأردن

Abstract EN

This study aimed at verifying the effectiveness of a training program based on six thinking hats to develop creative writing among students.

The researchers used the quasi-experimental approach.

The study sample includes 9th grade students from UNRWA schools in Jordan for the semester 2016 / 2017.

The sample was divided into experimental group of (38) students and control group of (35) students.

To attain study objective, a program of 10 training sessions (60 minutes per each session) was constructed as well as a five dimensions scale of creative writing was developed and validated.

The results were analyzed using one way mancova which displays that there are significant differences in the significance level (α ≤ .05) in creative writing attributed to the use of six thinking hats-based program.

This study recommends the necessity of using the six thinking hats strategy for teaching composition due to its substantial impact on improving the level of the creative writing and other creative skills as well.
