Abstract EN

The study aimed at monitors the rumor and its influence in Arab societies, and the role of electronic press in the spread of the rumor.

The researcher was depending on the descriptive method to describe and analyze the literatures and researches, the questionnaire used on some specialists, the sample of the study consisted of Arab newspapers, and also electronic.

The current study characterized from the previous studies with that it showed the extent of the affection of both; the individual and the community by the rumors and how to find appropriate solutions to eliminate them.

The researcher viewed the most important results of the study, which is summarized on the danger of the rumor and the severity of its impact on the emotions of masses, and its ability to rapid separation.

The rumor becomes more danger when society deals with hearsay and rumors; about what affects the faith and its values and ideals.

The rumor always aimed at man’s mind, his heart, self and not his body.

The study recommended the necessity for concern with teaching communication and media technology and developing a new specialty means, which concern with the teaching of electronic media, as decision-makers must to close some of websites and media that contribute to the spread of rumors with held, it must be provide an open media on society two-lane, one expressing the viewpoint of power and the other point of view of society and the only path that burrowed commonly spread through channels.
