Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the role of strategic leadership practices in organizational symmetry in the organizations from the point of view of a sample of its managers.

The research questions were determined by posing a set of centered based questions on the nature of the independent variable affecting the dependent variable.

A hypothesis was developed for the research from which the main and subsidiary hypotheses emerged, and several tests were carried out to verify their validity.

The research method was followed by the analytical descriptive method, whereby the two variables were described alongside their dimensions.

The research community which was a sample of 224 people is represented by managers in the private sector banks in the city of Erbil.

Forms were distributed to them.

(SPSS).

The results revealed that the high level of all strategic leadership practices, namely the identification of the strategic direction, the effective management of the organization's resources, the maintenance of the organizational culture, the emphasis on ethical practices, the development of human capital and the establishment of balanced control systems, and with a good degree of harmony in the responses which confirms the dependence of the private sector banks in the region on strategic leadership practices.

The study recommended that: draw the attention of the banking departments to the disparity in the importance of triviality of the main and subsidiary research variables for the purpose of continuing to maintain the variables within the top ranks and support and strengthen the variables within the last ranks to be converted to strengths supportive of the success of the bank.
