The Arabic dictionaries are varied and vary in terms of the curriculum and the material adopted in them.

This variation made the ancients unique in each of its own terms, its method based on the foundations and patterns that characterize its features, and determines its method of research.

One of these lexicons is the lexicon of the "AL-Kulliyat" of Abi- Baqaa Al –Kafawi , which the researchers did not care about the importance of his status; it is one of the dictionaries that recorded the terms of scientific, linguistic and jurisprudential logical and rhetorical in the old works, as a link between the language and terminology of old and modern, This is a fertile material for scientific studies in various fields.

And the importance of the subject ; priority to take care of research and study, entitled: The approach of Abu Al-Baqaa Al-Kafawi in his dictionary "Al- kulliyat." The aim of this study was to describe the approach of Al - Kafawi in the rhetorical lesson, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the research is a statement of the method of rhetorical authorship in the eleventh century AH in general.

This study - like a rhetorical material - is an attempt to identify the approach of the rhetoric in this age.
