This study aims at comparing between CTP Offset Plates) Thermal ,Ultraviolet and Convential Plates (and to investigate the required quality when using these plates to assist in improving the printed product considering the Sudanese hot environment.The researcher adopted the comparative descriptive method to determine number of standards through which the printing quality could be controlled by using these plates.The researcher collected the data from his daily practice in using such plates in Sudan at the University of Khartoum Printing Press ,the International Printing Press ,Planet Nubia Company and Sudan Currency Printing Press) SCPP (in which he conducted the practical procedures of the study.The researcher used the CTP plates which are available in Sudan .He managed to photograph a successful sample ,and then he printed it to compare it to the various kinds of plates.Six test samples were printed in different sizes and specifications .The samples were printed on papers of different weights70) :gm white ذ 300 gm art paper .(Then the samples were examined and their contents were analyzed .The analysis aimed at providing an indicative guide to determine the difference between the various plates.The results revealed that using the CTP Offset Plates) Thermal ,Ultraviolet and Convential Plates (show differences on several standards ;where thermal plates have shown the following distinction points when compared to CTP plates: .1The degree of shining and the shadows detail areas are clearer and better in quality.

.2The sorting out of colours was very good considering the printing on paper quality as the art paper reflects the colours better than the ordinary paper.

.3The gray scale) the graduation from white to black ,(the strong lights are clear and very good considering the coincidence of the printing network with the quality of the paper.

.4The degree of colours saturation and the tinny details are also very good.

.5The ultimate neatness and the high quality besides the accurate registration.

The study recommends the necessity of using Offset Plates Thermal Type from the trade marks (Ipagza) of Spain or IBF of Brazil or Agfa as those plates guarantee high quality printing.
