Abstract EN

This Study aims at analyzing the novel "Khatem al- Raml"- Ring of Sand- written by Fuad al- Takarli.

The choice of this Text is not random; it is considered one of the important contemporary literary works that deals with critical human issue, which is the strive of human against oppression in his society.

This study uses several theories; Polyphony and Heteroglossia, Carnival, and Chronotope Theories for Mikhail Bakhtin.

These theories are used by analyzing the relation between the technical components of the narration construction in order to reach a better and more deep understanding of the text.

This will also be accomplished by using the intimacy of space in the light of human- place relationship.

Also, by using the theory of Geography of Literature for Franco Moritte.

The aim of using the last two theories is to understand the text deeply.
