Abstract EN

Good governance and economic development are considered as one of the major problems of the economies at the international scale, and still remain a major concern of society actors, and on many levels.

However, the contribution by proposing solutions to strengthen economic performance of the Arab countries requires first a careful diagnosis of their governance systems.

On the other hand, the fight against corruption represents a big challenge for the Arab counties development matter, so that it constitutes among the most important criteria of good governance.

Through this study, we would like to clarify the evolution of the corruption phenomenon in that countries between 1996 and 2014, in order to make propositions that can reduce it, because of it negatives effect on economic growth.
